Israel fully aware of Hamas attack plans, reveals New York Times report
Government officials allowed and instigated the murder of their own citizens
In a shocking revelation, the New York Times published a report on Friday stating that Israel was fully informed about Hamas’ plans to attack its border on October 7. This new information makes it clear that Israeli officials, with full knowledge of where and how Hamas would strike, made a deliberate decision to resign and facilitate the attack.
These revelations indicate that the Israeli government allowed and instigated the killing of its own citizens, making them responsible for the deaths that occurred that day. This criminal conspiracy aimed to establish a pretext for a long-planned genocide against the people of Gaza.
Furthermore, it is impossible to believe that the United States was not informed of Hamas’ plans, especially considering that both Israeli and Egyptian intelligence had previously warned of the attack. All signs point to a conspiracy involving Israel, the Biden administration, and possibly British and European intelligence agencies.
The Times published this report on Monday as Israel launched a new wave of attacks on Gaza during a visit by Antony Blinken. The presence of the US Secretary of State aimed not only to express US support for the new attack but also to manage the response to the exposure of this conspiracy.

The approximately 40-page document, which Israeli authorities codenamed «Jericho Wall,» described in detail the type of devastating invasion that resulted in the deaths of around 1,200 people.
The document obtained by Israeli intelligence forces «meticulously described the method of attack, reflecting the actual events,» the Times reported. «It described an intense assault aimed at breaching the fortifications of the Gaza Strip, seizing Israeli cities, and attacking key military bases. This plan was implemented with alarming precision, involving coordinated use of rockets, drones, and ground forces.»
According to the Times, Hamas followed the plan with surprising accuracy. The document called for a rocket bombardment at the beginning of the attack, drones to destroy security cameras, and automatic machine guns along the border, with armed men invading Israel en masse using paragliders, motorcycles, and on foot, all of which occurred on October 7.
Additionally, the Times reported that Israeli military and intelligence officials knew that Hamas had conducted an extensive one-day training mission to practice the plan in detail just three months before the attack. During the exercise, Hamas fighters used the same Quranic phrase that appeared at the top of the Jericho Wall attack plan.

Israel’s Intelligence Failure: A Closer Look
Recent reports have shed light on Israel’s alleged intelligence failure leading up to the October 7 attack by Hamas. The New York Times, in particular, has attempted to downplay the significance of this failure, suggesting that Israeli officials simply made a mistake. However, a closer examination of the facts reveals a different story.
A Fatal Belief
According to Israeli officials, the failure to connect the dots stemmed from a deeply ingrained belief that Hamas lacked the capability and audacity to carry out such an attack. This belief persisted despite mounting evidence to the contrary. The Times compares this failure to a similar analytical mistake made by US authorities over two decades ago, when they failed to recognize the signs of an impending attack by Al Qaeda.
A Deliberate Decision
Contrary to the Times’ claims, Israel’s withdrawal on October 7 was not an intelligence failure. In fact, Israeli intelligence had obtained the entire operational plan for the attack and had witnessed Hamas conducting extensive training exercises in preparation. They knew exactly what was planned and made a conscious decision to let it proceed.
The Times suggests that Israeli military and intelligence officials dismissed the plan as an aspiration, deeming it too difficult for Hamas to execute. However, it is inconceivable that information of this nature would not have triggered intense analysis within the intelligence community, especially in the wake of the September 11 attacks. It is more likely that the document came from a high-level source within Hamas, and steps were taken to protect this valuable source, including measures to make Hamas believe that Israel was unaware of their plans. The withdrawal may have been a means to signal that Hamas’ plan had not been exposed.
A Calculated Move
In the end, the decision was made to allow Hamas’ operation to proceed, providing Israel with a pretext for a long-planned, massive military attack on Gaza. Only Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu could have made such a decision. Meanwhile, the United States swiftly deployed a large military force to the region, announcing the deployment of its largest aircraft carrier and escort ship within 24 hours of the attack.
The Times’ claim that Israel’s withdrawal was an «intelligence failure» is nonsensical and misleading. The events of October 7 were not an intelligence failure; Israel successfully predicted Hamas’ military operation. Instead of acting on this information, Israel orchestrated a troop withdrawal and gathered intelligence at the precise moment of the attack.
A Vulnerable Border
Four days after the attack, veteran journalist Seymour Hersh reported that Israeli military authorities, with Netanyahu’s approval, had ordered two out of three army battalions, each consisting of around 800 soldiers, to protect the border with Gaza. This left only 800 soldiers responsible for guarding the 51-kilometer border between Gaza and southern Israel. Israeli citizens in the south were left without Israeli military presence for ten to twelve hours, leaving them vulnerable.
The withdrawal not only exposed the border to attacks but also created conditions that required military forces to be transferred to intercept Hamas attackers in civilian areas. This led to Israeli tank and helicopter forces indiscriminately firing on civilian areas, further escalating the death toll.
A Compromised Intelligence Unit
In addition to the military withdrawal, Israel made the decision to deactivate its highly acclaimed 8200 signals intelligence unit on weekends. This meant that the unit, which had detected the training exercise three months prior, was not operational at the time of the Saturday attack.
These revelations not only expose Israel’s prior knowledge of the attack but also call into question the credibility of the media and US political establishment, who have fully accepted Israel’s claims of being caught off guard. They have used the events of October 7 to justify the ongoing genocide in Gaza.
