Guardians of the Night -Kimetsu no Yaiba- Go for it! It takes us to fight against demons… on a board
SEGA is excited to announce that the highly anticipated game, Guardians of the Night -Kimetsu no Yaiba- Go for it!, produced by Aniplex, will be released for Nintendo Switch in the American and European territories on April 26, 2024.
Two new boards!
Accompanying this announcement are the reveals of two new boards for the game. «Board 2» features the Drum Mansion and Mount Natagumo, while «Board 3» showcases the Infinity Train. These boards offer mini-games inspired by Night’s Watch: Kimetsu no Yaiba and thrilling battles against the lurking demons in each scenario.
Furthermore, more details have been unveiled about some of the exciting mini-games:
- Modify the sword on the sly: Hide from Kanamori and customize Inosuke’s serrated sword!
- Tanjirō’s Total Concentration Training: Assist Tanjirō in his total concentration training!
- Make memories as a team: a fight between couples! Work together to match cards with the same image.
- Knock ‘em out! Sword Fight: Engage in a fierce sword fight and try to push your opponent out of the area!
Experience the world of Guardians of the Night -Kimetsu no Yaiba- Go for it! as the beloved manga/anime series transforms into an immersive board game. Iconic locations from the anime, including Mount Fujikasane and Asakusa, are faithfully recreated as game boards. Roll the dice, advance through the squares, and explore the daytime and nighttime sides of each board.
During the day, players must overcome events and mini-games that will prepare them for the night, when they must hunt down the demons. Become the ultimate demon slayer!
Choose from a roster of iconic characters, including Tanjirō, Zenitsu, Inosuke, and the nine pillars. Nezuko, although inactive during the day, appears as a support character who provides valuable assistance in the game.
Fight demons by utilizing the Joy-Con’s motion controls. In mini-games where you face demons, such as the hand demon, mimic the Nichirintō’s movements and attack!
Prepare to become a skilled demon slayer and take on the most powerful demons! Guardians of the Night -Kimetsu no Yaiba- Go for it! will be available for Nintendo Switch in the American and European territories on April 26, 2024.
