The Pokémon Company International has exciting news for Pokémon UNITE fans. Two new Pokémon are joining the lineup, and a range of festive activities are set to kick off the holiday season.
Meowscarada jumps into Pokémon UNITE on December 7
Prepare for the arrival of Meowscarada in Aelos! This agile Pokémon, hailing from the Paldea region, is ready to join the battle in Pokémon UNITE. Meowscarada possesses the ability called Thicket, which allows it to vanish into leaves for a short period when its HP is halved or less. During this time, Meowscarada’s movement speed and damage output increase, and it also regains HP with each successful attack against opposing Pokémon.
Players can obtain the Unite license for Meowscarada from December 7, 2023, to January 9, 2024, at 23:59 UTC by participating in the Meowscarada Petal Challenge. By completing event challenges and collecting 100 petals of each available color, players will unlock Meowscarada.

From December 7, 2023, to December 30, 2023, at 23:59 UTC, Algida City will be transformed into a winter wonderland. In this special battle mode, defeated Pokémon will turn into snowmen, and players must defeat Delibirds scattered around the map to receive a gift containing a random, one-time-use battle item that replaces their current held item.
This special battle item is perfect for players looking to add a new strategic element to their combat or gain an advantage over their rivals. It’s truly a gift from above!
- Gifts galore! The shot at the prize returns
From December 7, 2023, to January 8, 2024, at 23:59 UTC, players who log into the game will receive 10 Festi Balls each day at no cost, up to a maximum of 100. These Festi Balls can be used in the prize shoot, where players have the chance to win fantastic gifts, including holo-outfits. Festi Balls can only be used on the same day they are obtained and in specific collections, as they reset the following day.
