The Cub: un juego de plataformas distópico y continuación de la nostalgia del club de golf

The Cub: A Dystopian Adventure Game Set in a Post-Apocalyptic Earth

Demagog Studio and Untold Tales have announced that their new game, The Cub, will be released on January 19, 2024. Demagog Studio, a collective based in Serbia and Tokyo, is known for their emotionally impactful post-apocalyptic game Golf Club: Nostalgia and the whimsical exploration game High Water.

In The Cub, players will return to the satirical and neon-lit dystopian Earth, immediately after the events of Golf Club: Nostalgia. This game continues the saga in a fusion of The Jungle Book and the apocalypse. Players will engage in parkour platforming through the remnants of humanity as an evolved child, pursued by those who fled to Mars decades ago but have now returned and set their sights on you.

Throughout your journey, you will be accompanied by the smooth-voiced radio host from Radio Nostalgia from Mars, who will share a collection of stories, apocalyptic tunes, and advertisements for life on Mars to paint a vivid picture of this dystopian world.

The team has also released a new Steam demo for players to try the game themselves. You can access it by clicking here.

The Cub will be available on January 19 for PC, PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch. Although originally announced for Xbox as well, the team needed to allocate resources differently, so the Xbox release has been postponed until further notice.
