Another Code: Recollection Coming to Nintendo Switch

Nintendo has announced the return of Another Code on Nintendo Switch. During the broadcast of its latest Nintendo Direct, the company revealed Another Code: Recollection, a collection that includes enhanced versions of the classic graphic adventure games Another Code: The Two Memories and Another Code: R – Beyond Memory.

“Young Ashley receives a letter from her father, whom she believed to be deceased. In search of answers, she embarks on a journey to a secluded island. There, Ashley encounters challenging riddles and obstacles that hinder her investigation. Players will have the opportunity to uncover Ashley’s past and experience the complete story in Another Code: Recollection,” reads the game’s description.

Nintendo has also announced that Another Code: Recollection will be available on Nintendo Switch starting January 19, 2024. Pre-orders are now open on the Nintendo eShop.

What to Expect from Another Code: Recollection

“We are presented with a game that offers a slow and serene pace, meant to be enjoyed at a leisurely pace, savoring its story and characters. If you have an aversion to reading, this may not be the game for you, as it contains a substantial amount of text. However, if you appreciate both literature and video games and don’t mind their fusion, then this is the perfect game for you. It features a meticulously crafted narrative, intriguing characters, and the resolution of enigmas and puzzles. Despite being a sequel, it deviates significantly from its predecessor. The focus in the first game was on puzzle-solving, while in Another Code: Recollection, the emphasis is on the story. This means that players can enjoy the game even if they haven’t had the chance to play the original Nintendo DS version,” concluded our analysis.
