Tonight’s State of Play not only brought the announcement of new games and updates on previously announced titles, but Sony also revealed the upcoming launch of the exciting Deep Earth collection. This collection will introduce three new shades for the DualSense wireless controller and PS5 console covers, all featuring a sleek metallic finish: the fiery Volcanic Red, the alluring Cobalt Blue, and the elegant Sterling Silver.
Pre-orders for the Deep Earth Collection will begin on October 4. The Volcanic Red and Cobalt Blue accessories will be released on November 3, while the Sterling Silver color will be available on January 26. The new DualSense controllers will be priced at €74.99, and the PS5 covers will have a recommended price of €59.99.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth finally has a release date after an impressive trailer revealed that Caith Sith, Red XIII, and Sephiroth will be playable characters. This leaves only Cid and Vincent to complete the cast of original characters. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 also showcased a new trailer, revealing that the map of New York will be significantly expanded with the addition of new districts for players to explore and complete new main and side missions, as well as activities.
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora was another highlight of the event, with a trailer reminding players that they can become a Na’vi and explore the Western frontier, immersing themselves in the customs of Pandora to protect it from the GDR. Lastly, Resident Evil 4 announced the release date for its paid expansion, Separate Ways.
